Middlesbrough Women versus Cheadle Town Stingers has been selected as the first-ever Adobe Women’s FA Cup First Round fixture to be shown live on television.
The match will be broadcast on TNT Sports 1 on Saturday 25 October, kick-off at 12:15, as part of the new broadcast deal for the Adobe Women’s FA Cup. This marks the first time fans will be able to watch First Round Proper action live on TV.
Throughout the competition TNT Sports will broadcast 19 matches, starting with this tie in the First Round. From Third Round Proper, Channel 4 will televise one match per round.
