Man City Women fought back to grab a late winner against Liverpool at Anfield in the Barclays WSL.

Cornelia Kapocs of Liverpool headed home a Ceri Holland cross but Manchester City were level through Iman Beney’s reply 12 minutes later. With four minutes of the 90 to go, City’s Sydney Lohmann found Aoba Fujino who grabbed the decider.
Chelsea took just over a hour to make the breakthrough against Tottenham, Keira Walsh striking from outside the box with an assist by Ellie Carpenter. A fifth win in six kept the Blues top of the table.
Manchester United came from behind with four goals after the hour mark, to defeat Everton in front of 18,154 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Honoka Hayashi had the hosts ahead but United turned it around with two goals in an eight-minute spell after the hour mark; Melvine Malard equalised ad Hikaru Kitagawa conceded an own-goal. Jess Park made sure of the away win with a late brace as Ella Toone provided two assists.
London City Lionesses made it back-to-back wins with victory over West Ham United. Viviane Asseyi went closest for the Hammers by hitting the outside of the post but Kosovare Asllani took advantage of a mistake by goalkeeper Kinga Szemik to put London City one up in the last quarter of the match. West Ham are without a point from their first six matches.
Arsenal narrowly beat Brighton for a first win in four. Olivia Smith’s deflected effort off Marissa Olislagers put the Gunners ahead, Albion stayed in it and Carla Camacho forced a great save from Daphne van Domselaar. Two injuries for Brighton led to 13 minutes added time.
Aston Villa stay a point ahead of Leicester City after the two sides played out a goalless draw at Villa Park.
