Glasgow City dramatically defeated HB Koge 5-3 on the night and 6-5 overall to reach the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup Round of 16.

Trailing from the first leg to the Danish league leaders, City fell 3-1 behind on aggregate after Mille Gejl’s early goal.

Abi Harrison and Emily Whelan struck to give City a 3-2 advantage at Petershill Park, only for Nadia Nadim to swiftly hit back for the visitors.

A Lisa Evans corner forced an own-goal from Emma Pelkowski but Sarah Thygesen’s goal on 84 minutes had the hosts bowing out.

That was until two late headers from Emma Brownlie and Lisa Forrest turned the tie.

The draw for the round of 16 onwards will be made at 12pm BST on Friday 17 October.
