Hibernian Women Come From Two Goals Down to Beat Rangers

Hibernian Women dramatically came from two down to beat Rangers 3-2 and go third in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League table.

Aberdeen 5-0 Hamilton Academical
Glasgow City 2-0 Partick Thistle
Hibernian 3-2 Rangers
Celtic 7-1 Motherwell
Hearts 7-0 Montrose

Katie Wilkinson scored twice for Rangers including a penalty. Rosie Livingstone replied, Eilidh Adams set up Kathleen McGovern to level before getting the winner herself.

Celtic sank Motherwell 7-1, Saoirse Noonan aed Morgan Cross both scoring twice, with on each from Emma Lawton, Kelly Clark and Maria McAneny.

Glasgow City saw off Partick Thistle with Lisa Forrest’s opener added to by Sofia Maatta.

Hearts’ 7-0 result over Montrose put them fourth, ahead of Rangers on goal-difference. Bayley Hutchison hit a hat-trick, Carly Johns converted a penalty, Lauren Wade, Kayla Jardine and Georgia Timms the other scorers.

Aberdeen thrashed Hamilton 5-0 with Aimee Black’s brace added to by Kerry Beattie, Eva Thomson and Mya Christie.

Stirling University 1-7 St Johnstone
Kilmarnock 4-1 Queen’s Park
Dundee United 0-0 Boroughmuir Thistle

Kilmarnock went two points clear at the top as Spartans were held at Gartcairn. East Fife are off the mark following a draw with Livingston, with the equaliser on 90 minutes from Elizabeth Corke. Elvie McLean and Lila Aitchison got a couple each as St Johnstone overcame Stirling University.
