Genero Adran Premier leaders Cardiff City Women denied Wrexham victory with a late penalty, Aberystwyth, Barry and Swansea all came from behind to win away.

Wrexham remain goal-difference behind leaders Cardiff City, after the top two finished one goal apiece. Katie Barker’s goal saw the hosts lead for the majority of the match, substitute Fiona Barry equalising from the spot on 88 minutes.

Swansea City moved level on points with third-placed The New Saints, whom they beat 2-1 away despite conceding first. Zara Gibbs’ goal was soon cancelled out by Mackenzie Hayd-Jones’ own-goal, Stacey John the winning it with a 35th-minute spot-kick.

A Cerys Bufton hat-trick gave Aberystwyth victory at Briton Ferry, having trailed to goals by Megan Kearle and Jade Crofts.

Barry stunned Pontypridd with a late treble overturning a 2-0 deficit. Madison Lloyd added to Lili Angove’s goal in the last 10 minutes but Beca Thomas hit back with a brace and fellow sub Millie Breen got the winner. Ponty boss Drew Lewis stepped down after the match.

Group 1: Cwmbran Celtic 3-1 Cascade (Att: 60), Penybont 2-0 Taffs Well

Cwmbran Celtic beat Cascade to take top spot from them, Fiona Anthony scoring twice. Goals from Maddie Priday and Erin Bater saw Penybont beat Taffs Well.

Group 2: Cardiff Met 3-1 Pure Swansea (Att: 70), Llanelli Town 3-2 Carmarthen Town (Att: 140)

Cardiff Met took maximum points after victory over Pure Swansea, Scarlett Davies’ double including a penalty. Llanelli Town edged Carmarthen to progress for the first time, Danni Webster with the decider.

Group 3: Connah’s Quay Nomads 2-3 Felinheli (Att: 41), Llandudno 3-1 Berriew (Att: 68)

Llandudno had won all their games after a 3-1 defeat of Berriew but required a double from sub Maddie Williams. Llywela Edwards scored a hat-trick for Felinheli, who had trailed 2-0 at Connah’s Quay.

Group 4: Llanfair United 4-0 Bangor (Att: 52), Llangefni Town 4-1 Flint Town United

Llanfair United finished top on goal-difference with a 4-0 score against Bangor, Tania Wylde bagging a brace. Flint slipping to second after a 4-1 loss to Llangefni where their Rebecca Eagles was sent off and Milly-Jessica Lowe got a couple for the home side.
