Falkirk stretch their lead at the top of the Barclays Scottish Women’s Championship with a 1-0 win over Dryburgh Athletic in Dundee.
Olivia Murphy provided that important winner after 19 minutes, and the Bairns defence stepped up to keep their hosts out.
Local rivals Stenhousemuir were held at home by Renfrew to a 1-1 draw, meaning there is an eight-point gap in the table between the sides ahead of next week’s derby at the Falkirk stadium.
Greenock Morton moved further from the foot of the table with a 3-2 win at Armadale Thistle, leapfrogging their hosts thanks to goals from Ava Riddex, Rachael McConnachie and Taylor Cumberbatch.
Bonnyrigg Rose enjoyed a sensational second-half to defeat second-placed Forfar Farmington 7-2. The Midlothian side scored almost from kick off, a ball over the top catching the Farmington defenders off guard and Rhea Kilgallon snuck in to score, but the away side responded within eight minutes, switching the ball well to allow a good cross which Anna Forbes slotted in at the back post. Forfar then enjoyed the bulk of possession in the remains of the first half before Bonnyrigg remerged to dominate the second half. Kya McGurk scored an impressive four goals, Niamh Naysmith and Jen Brown with the others. Shauni De Koning grabbed what would be a consolation second for Forfar at around 70 minutes.
Rossvale beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle 5-2 at home, while Glasgow Girls forfeited their game against Ayr United, lifting the latter into third in the table with an awarded 3-0 win.
