Hibernian Women ended Glasgow City’s 100% record in the ScottishPower SWPL with a 1-1 draw in Wednesday’s clash.

Eilidh Adams volleyed Hibs in front from a cross by Rosie Livingstone, who earlier had gone very close and straight after was denied by goalkeeper Lee Gibson rushing off her line to smother the ball.

City equalised just after the half-hour mark, Noa Schumacher unable to get distance on a punch from a corner and Katie Lockwood first to react.

Emily Whelan curled an effort just round the post for the visitors but they were down to ten players for the last five of the 90, Lana Golob sent off for taking down Kathleen McGovern.

Although their six-match winning run in the league is ended, the result puts City three points clear of both Celtic and Rangers, with Hibs two further points behind.
