
Ipswich Town Women eventually saw off Portsmouth with a late spot-kick to claim a first WSL 2 win at the fourth attempt.

Ipswich leapfrogged Portsmouth to tenth place after defeating them with a late spot-kick.
Rianna Dean headed Ipswich in front from a Sophie Peskett delivery, Angelina Nixon turned in a Jessie Gale cross to equalise just before the break.
Nixon’s header led to Ava Rowbotham putting Pompey 2-1 up but Natasha Thomas swiftly replied with Peskett again the provider.
Peskett was fouled in the area by Izzy Collins and Paige Peake put the hosts 3-2 up after 81 minutes.
Charlton took the points at Newcastle with a second-half penalty, to go level on points with leaders Birmingham City.
The Addicks opened the scoring before the hour mark from the spot, Demi Stokes fouling Katie Bradley who got up to net the penalty.
Crystal Palace grabbed a 96th-minute equaliser to take a point at Durham.
Durham’s Beth Hepple broke the deadlock 11 minutes from the end of the 90 by heading home following a free kick.
But Elise Hughes tapped home a ball from Justine Vanhaevermaet to force the draw.
Southampton pegged back Sunderland before the break as the fixture finished one goal each.
Katy Watson put Sunderland in front from a ball by Emily Scarr but four minutes into first-half stoppage-time, Chloe Peplow levelled from a couple of yards out.
