
Walsall Women were 4-3 winners over Chasetown in the West Midlands Regional League game at Bescot Stadium on Friday evening.
EASTERN – Six in a Row for Chelmsford and Histon
Premier – Stevenage sank Watford Ladies Development 7-0 in front of 150 fans after their visitors had won 7-3 at Enfield Town in midweek. Enfield suffered again on Sunday with a 9-2 thrashing at Harpenden Town, St Albans City came from behind to win at Hutton with a goal by substitute Chloe Farrell, Royston Town edged Haringey Borough by the odd goal in five, while it finished 1-1 between Atletico London and Wroxham, 2-2 as Bowers & Pitsea entertained Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers.
1 North – Histon have six straight wins after a 2-0 victory at Thetford Town, Stevenage Development went second as Sophie Hendy hit a hat-trick for a 3-1 win at Fulbourn Institute Bluebirds. Cambridge and Newmarket each had two clean sheets, as after their goalless midweek draw City saw off Hitchin Belles 2-0 and Town edged Mulbarton Wanderers with an Abbi Griffin effort. Dunstable Town defeated Colney Heath 2-0, while Real Bedford Reserves versus Biggleswade United was abandoned early in the second half.
1 South – Chelmsford City’s sixth win in a row came 5-3 over Colchester United and aided by a Jay Blackie brace. Hashtag United Reserves sent Toby FC to a 7-2 defeat, Southend United put five past Stanway Pegasus with three from Ellie Nicholls, Brentwood Town beat Hertford Town 2-0.
EAST MIDLANDS – Two Wins in a Week for Rotherham
Premier – Rotherham United beat Mansfield Town 2-1 in midweek, then went one better when defeating Wellingborough Town 3-1 at the weekend. But they trail new leaders Loughborough Foxes Vixens on goal-difference, as they abruptly ended Gainsborough Trinity’s perfect start with a 6-0 scoreline.
1 Central – Asfordby Amateurs beat Long Eaton United 2-1 with a Sarah Brown brace, Coalville Town were 5-2 victors over Melbourne Dynamo.
1 North – Grimsby Town and Dronfield Town have begun with back-to-back wins, the former overcoming Newark Town 8-3 led by four goals from Milly North, the latter beating Belper Town 3-0 with Ruby Burns notching a double. Natasha Leach got the only goal as Arnold Eagles defeated Lincoln United Development, Notts County Development were 2-1 winners against Cleethorpes Town.
1 South – Dunton & Broughton United continued their winning start 4-0 at Netherton United, likewise New Bradwell St Peter but with just a Cara Brooker goal at Newport Pagnell Town. Stanground Cardea Sports also beat Brackley Town by a single Georgie Elsom effort, Leicester City Ladies had a 4-2 result against River City and Northampton Town Development beat Thrapston 5-1.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Dartford Maintain 100% Record While Ending Saltdean’s
Premier – Brentford extended their perfect form to a sixth game with a 2-1 win over Ashford Town in front of 156 fans, Dartford have won all five so far as they ended Saltdean United’s 100% record with a solitary goal. Barking beat Newhaven 5-1, Sutton United won 2-1 at Aylesford and Dorking Wanderers got the only goal of the game with Sport London E Benfica, who face Brentford on Wednesday 1 October at Wheatsheaf Park.
1 North – Bromley had a crowd of 235 for their 4-1 win over Herne Bay, Dulwich Hamlet Reserves edged a seven-goal thriller at Hackney. Richmond & Kew were 3-0 winners against Ashford United and Clapton CFC struck a dozen times at Soccer Elite Football Academy.
1 South – Eastbourne Borough have won their first five games, Charlotte Gurr having a good week with a hat-trick in a 7-2 success at Frimley Green coming after she got the only goal to defeat Saltdean United Development on Thursday in front of a crowd of 134. Steyning Town’s Chloe Higham scored two of their three goals at Bexhill United, Leatherhead hit Hastings United for six with Kacie-May Harlow netting three times, while Bognor Regis Town sent Sevenoaks Town home beaten 7-1.
NORTH EAST – Four-Goal Second-Half Salvo for Shields’ Legg
Premier – Thornaby stayed top with a single goal at Spennymoor Town, Ponteland United pipped Alnwick Town with Katie Monaghan the one scorer. South Shields’ 4-0 win over Wallsend BC saw Annece Legg get all the goals after the break, Bradford City ran out 5-0 winners at Ossett United and Harrogate Town beat Sunderland West End 5-2.
1 North – Gateshead Rutherford made it three wins from three with a 6-1 scoreline over Stockton Town, Park View took the points 2-0 at Hartlepool United, Redcar Town defeated Consett 3-0 and Wallsend BC Reserves’ 5-2 win over Norton & Stockton Ancients Reserves featured a Chloe O’Hanlon hat-trick.
1 South – Farsley’s Shirley Murphy cancelled out Altofts’ opener from Tallulah Freeman for a 1-1 draw, Sheffield Wednesday returned from Ilkley Town with a 4-2 victory, Leeds Modernians’ Matilda Beckley scored three of their nine goals at York City Development.
NORTH WEST – West Didsbury Recover Two-Goal Deficit at Tranmere
Premier – AFC Fylde have seven wins on the spin after scoring 10 against Curzon Ashton, second-placed Mancunian Unity defeated Darwen 4-0. West Didsbury & Chorlton came from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 at Tranmere Rovers with substitute Louise Ainscow levelling on 88 minutes, while Poulton Vics won 2-0 at Fleetwood Town Wrens.
1 Central – The top two drew 2-2 as Salford City remain under pressure from FC St. Helens, Sophie Coates claimed a five-goal haul in Rochdale’s 9-2 win over Wigan Athletic. Mossley Hill Athletic lost at home to Ashton Town for whom Layla Woollam got the one goal, Pilkington’s Laura Butters scored twice as they shared six goals with MSB Woolton.
1 North – Blackpool sub Jess Lord was on target in a 2-1 win at Workington Town that sent the Seasiders second. Bolton Wanderers Reserves scored 10 at their counterparts from Fleetwood Town Wrens for an eighth straight win, Haslingden were held 4-4 by Morecambe.
1 South – Nantwich Town opened up a six-point lead at thee top as Amanda Fallon got a treble in their 5-1 win at Warrington Town, Altrincham were 2-0 winners over Wirral Phoenix.
Alliance Design & Print League Cup Preliminary Round – Bolton Wanderers struck fivee times before thee breeak in a 6-1 win at Preston North End, Atherton Laburnum Rovers accounted for all five goals of the tie at Chorley Development. AFC Crewe beat Radcliffe 4-0 with two each for Holly Ellison and Lois Jennings, there was a crowd of 159 for Bury’s 5-1 success over Macclesfield.

SOUTHERN – Two Off As Farnborough Beat Slough
Premier – Wycombe Wanderers have won all four games, the last a 4-1 result over Sholing. Winchester City Flyers beat Fleet Town 7-1, with Chelsie Hay’s hat-trick matched by substitute Annie Northwood in a 15-minute spell. Beaconsfield Town won 5-1 at Badshot Lea, Reading returned from Southampton Women as 3-1 victors.
1 North – Denham United defeated Abingdon United Development 4-1 away to replacee them at the top, Farnborough had two-goal Ellie Stalley sent off in a 3-1 win over Slough Town whose own Alicia Grinhaff had been dismissed earlier on. Tilehurst Panthers ran riot at Milton United, Leah Why with four goals in 20 minutes and a first-half treble for Deanna Cane in a 13-0 scoreline. Elsewhere is ended; Kidlington 1-5 Chesham United Development, Oxford City Development 4-1 Larkspur Rovers.
1 South – Ten different AFC Stoneham players registered in a 14-0 mauling of Nursling & Shirley, Guernsey sub Codie le Flem scored twice as they drew 4-4 with Andover New Street. AFC Varsity’s Kayleigh Rogers grabbed the only goal at Bournemouth Sports Reserves, Bursledon came from behind to beat Wimborne Town 4-1, Farnham Town beat Bemerton Heath Harlequins 5-1 and Havant & Waterlooville hit Shaftesbury 8-0 aided by an Emma-Jane May hat-trick.

Premier – AEK Boco subs Lucy Atkinson and Jess Dobbins scored for a third straight win, 2-0 against Poole Town. Forest Green Rovers were 4-1 winners at Sherborne Town. Saltash United sent Bishops Lydeard to a 6-2 defeat, while Pucklechurch Sports picked up the points 3-1 over Frampton Rangers.
1 North – Stockwood Wanderers had Charley Friend red-carded during a 5-0 home defeat to leaders Cirencester Town, Mangotsfield United’s Olivia Goozee claimed a treble in a 5-1 win at AFC Brislington, Corsham Town’s 3-2 victory over Paulton Rovers saw Shannon Redhouse grab a hat-trick. Bitton won 5-2 at Whitchurch, Royal Wootton Bassett Town had a narrow success against Downend Flyers with a goal by Chantelle Scott, Bath City beat Gloucester City Reserves 2-0.
1 South – Yeovil Town backed up an opening-day win with a 2-0 result over Feniton, Wells City ran out 5-0 winners at Weymouth, Weston super Mare were held 2-2 by Appledore.
WEST MIDLANDS – Over 500 Watch Walsall at Bescot
Premier – Shifnal Town’s 5-1 defeat of Coundon Court was a third win from three, so to Coventry Sphinx’s 3-2 result away at Leek Town where sub Brooke Hornsby scored for the visitors. Shrewsbury Town’s Katie Doster got the only goal at Hednesford Town, Solihull Moors 8-0 score against Alvechurch featured five goals for Humera Ashfaq. Port Vale beat Burton Albion 4-1, Lye Town scored three without reply at Redditch Borough.
1 North – Walsall just got the better of Chasetown helped by Mia Fellows’ brace, as they won 4-3 on Friday in front of 549 spectators at the Bescot Stadium. Newcastle Town edged Leek Town Reserves 3-2 with Kady-Leigh Day scoring off the bench, Rugby Town defeated Whitchurch Alport with Millie McGahey getting the only goal, Lichfield City’s decider in a 2-1 win at Telford Town was netted by Chloe Hood.

1 South – Leamington’s Linda Turner got a couple as Halesowen Town were narrowly beaten 4-3, Droitwich Spa’s Beth James scored an 81st-minute decider for a 3-2 result at Worcester City Reserves. Bromsgrove Sporting won 4-1 at Kingfisher helped by Elloise Russell’s treble, Redditch United put five past hosts Hereford Pegasus, while Hereford FC eequalised to draw 1-1 at Knowle.
