Cardiff City scored all five goals in a local clash at Barry. Mackenzie Olden and Laura Curnock bagged a brace each, the latter getting one from the spot, while Mikayla Cook was also on target.
Swansea City are up to second with a game in hand, after seeing off Aberystwyth Town. Eilish Mitchell’s early effort was eventually added to six minutes from time by Aimee Deacon.
The New Saints are level on points with Wrexham, whose perfect start they ended. A Caitlin Chapman brace and Chantelle Teare goal had TNS 3-0 up, Mariam Mahmood pulling one back in first-half added time. Zara Gibbs struck back three minutes after the restart, while Neve Adams got Wrexham’s second but only in stoppage time.
Briton Ferry got off the mark at the third attempt, netting four second-half goals without reply at Pontypridd. Lowri Ridings, Maia Owen, Jade Crofts and substitute Casey Daniels got a goal apiece.

Kirstie Kural scored eight times for Wrexham Foresters, Savannah Miller and Chelsea Williams each hitting a hat-trick.
Four of Trefelin’s 11 goals came after the dismissal of Cardiff Wanderers’ Tara Edwards, as Lauren Amor claimed a treble while Jessica Curran scored twice and contributed five assists.
Bronwyn Ridd twice gave Ammanford the lead at Pontarddulais, whose Amber Brenton equalised and second goal came from Naomi Coulson but after Angharad Saunders got a third for the visitors. Jessica Hulse and Meleri Owen added one each after the hour mark to ensure the victory.
