Leicester City 1-0 Liverpool
Aston Villa 1-3 Chelsea (Att: 4,994)
Everton 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur (Att: 6,473)

Chelsea had a hard-fought victory at Villa Park, where the hosts had levelled before the break.

Aggie Beever-Jones’ free far-post header from a deflected Ellie Carpenter cross gave them the lead.

Villa levelled as Ebony Salmon swept Chasity Grant’s cut-back over goalkeeper Hannah Hampton from the edge of the area.

Chelsea regained the advantage before the hour mark, Keira Walsh’s effort deflected into her own net by Missy Bo Kearns.

Sam Kerr made her long-awaited return from the bench and scored during a stoppage-time goalmouth scramble, as the Blues made it two wins from two.

Goals early in either half set Manchester United up for a second successive big win, this time away to London City.

Maya le Tissier converted a third-minute penalty after Melvine Malard was fouled by Jana Fernández.

United keeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce was forced into three saves, before Jade Riviere spectacularly doubled the lead from an acute angle.

Malard scored twice in the first five minutes after the interval from balls by Jess Park and Anna Sandberg, effectively sealing the points.

Millie Turner was stretchered off and Nikita Parris pulled a goal back when heading in a Kosovare Asllani cross.

Fridolina Rolfö found Park for her to score a late fifth on the break.

Ten-player Leicester City took all three points with a solitary goal against Liverpool.

Leicester were down to 10 players with over half-an-hour left following a second yellow for Shannon O’Brien.

However, they quickly took the lead as Emily van Egmond headed home a Janice Cayman cross.

Spurs have back-to-back wins and another clean sheet, after defeating Everton at Goodison Park.

Courtney Brosnan a made a very sharp close-rage stop to deny Drew Spence, but Olga Ahtinen got Tottenham in front from a flick by Cathinka Tandberg.

Tandberg put Spurs two up early in the second half, catching the keeper off her line from distance.
