Wrexham AFC Women and Aberystwyth Town narrowly continued their winning starts in the Genero Adrian Premier.

Aberystwyth Town 1-0 The New Saints (Att: 62)
Cardiff City 5-1 Briton Ferry Llansawel
Swansea City A-A Pontypridd United (Att: 60)
Wrexham 3-2 Barry Town United (Att: 644)

Wrexham eventually beat Barry in the televised match, after giving away a 2-0 half-time advantage. Jodie Bartle and Hannah Snape both scored past stand-in goalkeeper Erin Murray, a Phoebe Davies own-goal and gift to Keira Harris got the visitors level before Snape’s late corner forced Angharad Beman to knock the ball into her own net.

Aberystwyth matched Wrexham with two wins from two, after edging The New Saints with Shauna Chambers’ first-half goal.

Cardiff City overcame Briton Ferry despite a red card for Fiona Barry. They built a big lead through Hollie Smith, Mackenzie Olden, Mikayla Cook, Lily Billingham and Kerry Walklett, Anya Grunewald then getting one back before the dismissal.

Swansea’s Jessica Williams was sent off in the game with Pontypridd, which was abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch with the score 0-0.
