Crystal Palace Women have signed Scotland international forward Kirsty Howat from Rangers on a two-year deal.
Howat scored 39 goals in two seasons for Rangers and won four trophies with them, she also had spells with local rivals Celtic and Glasgow City, winning three cups with the latter.
She represented Scotland at senior level for the first time last year.
Manager Jo Potter told cpfc.co.uk: “I’m delighted to welcome Kirsty to Palace. Having worked with her at Rangers, I know first-hand the quality she possesses. She’s a natural finisher and a great character, and I have no doubt she’ll be a huge asset to the team.”
Howat said: “I’m really delighted to be here. It’s been quite a whirlwind week, but I’m really excited to get going now!”
