Hearts Women Beat Hibs Rangers Women Win Away to Celtic

Hearts Women defeated reigning SWPL champions Hibernian, Rangers Women replaced Celtic at the top by winning away to their Old Firm rivals.

Rangers won away to Celtic with two second-half goals. Mia McAulay’s opener after the hour mark was added to by Eilidh Austin.

Hearts beat Hibernian at Tynecastle with two goals in the last quarter of the match. Georgia Timms converted a 69th-minute penalty and Jess Husband sealed the points with the second.

Glasgow City put five past Montrose, Abi Harrison and Lana Golob’s first-half goals added to by Erin McLaughlin, Mebae Tanaka and Lisa Evans’s 90th-minute penalty.

Aberdeen levelled late on to hold Partick to a 1-1 draw, Lia Tweedie’s 73rd-minute breakthrough cancelled out in stoppage time by Bridget Galloway.

Motherwell’s Sophie Black swiftly replied to Hamilton’s opener from Chloe Muir, before the hosts secured victory with oe each by Katie Rice, Bailley Collins and Hannah Cairns.

Kilmarnock levelled to force extra time at Dundee United, eventually progressing 8-7 in a lengthy shoot-out totalling 26 penalties.

Georgie Robb made the breakthrough as Gartcairn got the only goal after extra time at Boroughmuir.

St Johnstone went through at Stirling Uni aided by a brace from Jodie Malcolm, Justine Strain was also twice on target as Livingston eliminated East Fife.
