Arsenal Women Star Mariona Caldentey Wins PFA Players Player of the Year

Arsenal Women star Mariona Caldentey has been announced as the PFA Players’ Player of the Year for season 2024-25.

Caldentey was also one of four Gunners to make the Professional Footballers’ Association WSL Team of the Year, with Emily Fox, Kim Little and Alessia Russo.

Manchester United trio of Phallon Tullis-Joyce, Jade Riviere and Maya le Tissier were all in the eleven, while Chelsea’s representatives were Millie Bright and Erin Cuthbert, Manchester City’s Yui Hasegawa and Mary Fowler completing the all-star side.

Canadian international Olivia Smith, who joined Arsenal from Liverpool this summer, wins the Young PFA player of the year award, while Emma Hayes received a PFA Merit Award.
