Charlton Athletic Women sign former London City midfielder

Charlton Athletic have signed Lucy Fitzgerald, who helped London City Lionesses get promoted to the Barclays Women’s Super League.

A former England youth international, Fitzgerald has signed a one-year contract with an option to extend to 2027.

She had been with London City Lionesses since 2018 and made 115 appearances for the club, scoring six goals.

Her five caps for England U-19s yielded three goals.
