Aston Villa Women sign French youth international Océane Deslandes

Aston Villa have announced the signing of French youth international defender Océane Deslandes.

She arrives following the expiry of her contract at Montpellier, whom she joined in 2022 after coming through the ranks at Stade de Reims.

Director of Women’s Football Marisa Ewers told avfc.co.uk: “Océane has played very consistently in France and has gained a lot of minutes in recent seasons.

“She has impressed us with her energy and quality on the ball, and we hope we can aid her further development here at Aston Villa.”
