Spain beat Germany 1-0 to join England in the UEFA Women’s European Championship final on Sunday.
Giovanna Hoffman could not connect with a good chance for Germany, whose goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger twice denied Esther Gonzalez, once tipping over a long-range volley.
Irene Paredes headed against the post, as Spain had to settle for a goalless first half.
Sophia Kleinherne blocked an effort from Aitana Bonmati, Klara Buhl brought a good stop from Cata Coll and curled a free kick narrowly wide.
Right at the end of stoppage time, Coll kept out a deflected shot from Elisa Senss and blocked the follow-up by Carlotte Wamser.
The breakthrough came from Spain after 113 minutes, Aitana Bonmati turning on a ball through from Athenea del Castillo and beating Berger on her near post.
Lea Schuller came off the bench and saw her strike punched away by Coll, as Spain held their lead.
