
Midweek pre-season friendly matches included a 2-1 derby win for Sheffield United at Sheffield FC and a 5-4 comeback victory for West Didsbury & Chorlton over Stockport County.
The Blades went in two up at Sheffield FC, with the hosts halving the deficit against the visitors who fielded their U-21 side for the second half.
Naomi Lawrence’s hat-trick goal saw West Didsbury edge the thriller with Stockport, the hosts having trailed 3-0 at one point.
Leyton Orient’s 3-0 win at Dulwich Hamlet saw former Hashtag United pair Wiki Fronc and Sammy Rowland among the goals.
