Aston Villa have signed Netherlands international defender Lynn Wilms from Frauen Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg.
She has more than 50 caps for her country and is currently in the Dutch squad at UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.
The defender, who can operate either at right-back or centre-back, made over 100 appearances for Wolfsburg during a four-year stay with the German top-tier outfit.
Villa’s Director of Women’s Football Marisa Ewers told avfc.co.uk: “Lynn is a player with plenty of experience at the highest level.
“She has performed on the Champions League stage and we all hope she can help contribute to our own aspirations in qualifying for Europe in the years to come.”
