London City Lionesses have signed England U-23 international Teyah Goldie on a permanent deal, following a successful loan spell last season.

She made 24 appearances for London City last season and won their Young Player of the Season award.

Goldie told londoncitylionesses.com: “I’m delighted to be back to be honest, it feels like a long time coming, but I’m so excited to be here.

“It’s evident how ambitious the club is, it’s one of the main things that makes me happy to sign here and excited for the future.

“Very quickly it felt like home, last season was amazing for so many reasons, and I didn’t want to leave!”

Head coach Jocelyn Prêcheur said: “Teyah impressed me last season, she came back from two seasons without playing with such motivation.

“Last season she became such an important player. Her capacity to work hard, fight on the pitch, her professionalism and the way she evolved convinced everyone that we should build the team and the club with players like her.”
