Portsmouth have made the permanent signing of defender Jazz Bull following her loan spell during the second half of last season.

Returning to Pompey from Bristol City, after she helped them stay in Barclays WSL2, Bull has signed a two-year contract.

The Scotland U-23 international was part of the Bristol City side that in 2022/23 won promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Blues boss Jay Sadler told portsmouthfc.co.uk: “We’re absolutely delighted to have Jazz join us permanently. She played a huge part during her loan spell.

“She’s a tenacious full-back with relentless energy, real quality on the pitch, and natural leadership. She is exactly the type of character we want in this group.”
