Chelsea have confirmed that Dutch international defender Aniek Nouwen has departed the club and rejoined Netherlands Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven.

She joined Chelsea from PSV in 2021 and later had a loan spell with AC Milan in Serie A, before suffering an ACL injury playing for Netherlands U-23s.

In January 2025, she was loaned out to Crystal Palace and made a few appearances late in the campaign.

Nouwen told psv.nl: “This feels really good. It really feels like coming home. Since I know I am returning to the club I am completely happy. You can’t get that smile off my face.”
