Durham have signed England U-19 international midfielder Grace Ede from Barclays Women’s Super League 2 rivals Sunderland.
The versatile left-sided player already has over 60 senior games in the second tier and helped the Black Cats to a third-place finish last term.
Ede told durhamwfc.co.uk: “I’m really excited to be here and I can’t wait to get started.
“The club has really big ambition and they know where they want to be – in the WSL.
“The girls did really well last season so hopefully we can push on from that this season.”
