Birmingham City have brought in Chelsea Cornet on a two-year deal following the midfielder’s recent departure from Rangers.
She spent five years with the SWPL side, making 98 appearances and scoring 15 goals, helped them win the league title and Sky Sports Cup, as well as becoming the first female in the club’s Hall of Fame.
After over 40 caps for Scotland’s youth sides, she made her senior debut in 2023, during a friendly win over Australia.
Speaking to Blues+, Cornet said: “Birmingham City is a massive club so that in itself is huge and I’m really grateful to be a part of it now, but also the ambition of the club. I think the women’s side really wants to strive to be better, and it’s really exciting to be part of.”
