Spurs Women sign Japan international defender Tōko Koga

Tottenham Hotspur have signed Japan international centre-back Tōko Koga from Feyenoord on a four-year contract.

The teenager joined Vrouwen Eredivisie side Feyenoord in January 2024, making 35 appearances in total and scoring three times, with the club finishing fifth in the league last season.

Tōko has 19 senior caps for her country and three goals, including the one with which Japan beat USA to lift the SheBelieves Cup for the first time.

Her international experience also includes starting all four of Japan’s matches at the 2024 Olympics.
