Canada international defender Ashley Lawrence has departed Chelsea to join French giants OL Lyonnes.

She joined Chelsea in 2023 and won four trophies in two seasons at the club, including the WSL crown in both years as a Blue.

Making her Chelsea debut in the opening game of the 2023/24 season, she went on to make 60 appearances for the club, scoring three goals and contributing eight assists.

During the 2024/25 season, Lawrence recorded 30 appearances in all competitions and helped the team secure an unbeaten domestic treble.
