Bristol City’s new head coach is Charlotte Healy, who was previously assistant to Marc Skinner at Manchester United.

She has had spells coaching Manchester City U-21s and Liverpool U-23s, also working with the FA as a Development Technical Coach for the North West of England.

Charlotte Healy told bcfc.co.uk: “I’m really excited to be here at such a big club with a rich history in the women’s game. I’m delighted and can’t wait to get going.”

“I’m high challenge, I want us to win, I want us to be successful but if you came into my environment, I hope you’d see it is really high support as well.”

City Women Chair Gavin Marshall commented: “Charlotte was the outstanding candidate throughout the recruitment process, and not only has she worked in the WSL, but she also has a track record of improving young players.

“We are looking forward to working with Charlotte ahead of our upcoming WSL2 campaign.”
