Jill Roord has signed for Dutch champions FC Twente on a permanent deal, after two seasons with Manchester City.

The midfielder who has over 100 caps for the Netherlands, made 47 appearances for City whom she had joined from Wolfsburg.

Although her first season was cut short by injury, she scored 14 times and contributed six assists during her time with Manchester City.

Roord now returns for a second spell with FC Twente, who recently secured a third Dutch Eredivisie title in the last four years.
