United States Women 4-0 winners over Jamaica

Victors in the latest friendly internationals included Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa and the USA.

USA put four past Jamaica, Ally Sentnor scoring twice in ten first-half minutes, the first set up by Emily Fox and the second following an initial effort by Alyssa Thompson. Substitute Lynn Biyendolo was at the double after the break, volleying home after Claire Hutton’s header was parried by Liya Brooks and finishing a cross from Avery Patterson.

Canada were 3-1 winners over Haiti, with all the goals coming by half time. Holly Ward scored in-between an Evelyne Viens double, Melchie Dumornay replying from the spot.

Mexico edged Uruguay 1-0, Diana Ordonez forcing an own-goal from Daiana Farias.

South Africa beat Zambia with two goals in the last quarter of an hour or so, scored by Bongeka Gamede and Jermaine Seoposenwe.

Nigeria got both goals of the game against Cameroon in the second half, with Rinsola Babajide following up the opener from Rasheedat Ajibade.

New Zealand recovered from a penalty miss and going behind, to see off Venezuela 2-1. Katie Kitching could not convert from the spot, but Mariana Speckmaier did open the scoring. Milly Clegg levelled just before the break and Jacqui Hand got the winner after 73 minutes.

Delice Boboy and Rosa Ruckert each bagged a brace as Germany U-19s sent France to a 4-0 defeat.
