
Manchester United won their group at the World Sevens Football, Manchester City also made the semi-finals where the rivals will meet.

Manchester United’s Celine Bizet put them ahead against Benfica, Simi Awujo bagging a brace before Andreia Norton pulled a goal back.
United the twice levelled with PSG before a 7-6 penalty shoot-out victory. Sakina Karchaoui’s first minute goal brought a response from Maya Le Tissier, Jennifer Echegimi’s effort restored PSG’s lead but Jessica Simpson quickly made it 2-2. A doze spot-kicks all found the back of the net until PSG’s Grace Geyoro was denied by the crossbar.

Laura Coombs converted from the spot to give Manchester City a sudden-death penalties win over Ajax, after goals from Kerolin and Jess Park had been cancelled out by Lily Yohannes and Danique Noordman.
Bayern Münich topped their group ahead of Manchester City, after defeatig them 3-1. Linda Dallmann’s early goal was swiftly replied to by Aoba Fujino but Julia Zigiotti fired home to restore the lead and Maria Plattner added a third.
The semi-finals and final are all on Friday 23 May, live on the DAZN YouTube channel from 6.30pm GMT.
