Fulham and Luton and Chester le Street promoted to FA Women’s National League

Fulham, Luton Town and Chester le Street Town all become Regional League winners and gain promotion to the fourth tier.

EASTERN – Luton Town seal National League return

Premier – Luton Town became champions with a 1-0 midweek victory away to St Albans City. Fiona Buttigieg scoring a late deflected goal. The Hatters followed that up by thrashing Needham Market 8-1, who look to be going down. Royston Town remain on course to be runners-up after a 2-1 defeat of Wroxham, while Stevenage kept up their hopes with a similar score at a now relegated Cambridge City. Haringey Borough were 4-0 victors at Bowers & Pitsea, Watford Ladies Development drew 1-1 with Enfield Town.

1 North – Histon are headed for the runners-up spot after a 4-0 result at Wootton Blue Cross, Newmarket Town edged Stevenage Development 3-2 helped by a Katie Walker brace to secure a top-three finish. Thetford Town beat Biggleswade United 2-1, Kings Lynn Town had a walkover against Whittlesey Athletic. Biggleswade host Real Bedford Reserves on Wednesday.

1 South – Hutton sank third-placed Southend United 7-0, Colney Heath are second after a 3-2 victory over Chelmsford City. Hertford Town hit Lawford 6-3, Toby Ladies overcame Frontiers 6-1.

EAST MIDLANDS – Rotherham United finish third

Premier – Rotherham United drew 2-2 with Mansfield Town to take third place, with the Stags two points behind them in fifth.

LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Fulham, Aylesford and Brentford all take titles

Premier – Fulham secured the title when beating Sport London E Benfica 6-0 in front of 2,026 at Craven Cottage. Millwall Lionesses put seven past Ashford United with Kayda Townsend scoring three, Barking overran Haywards Heath Town 2-1 with four from Brooke Haylock and three by Laura Bunton.

1 North – Brentford won the division with a 20th straight win that came 4-2 in front of a crowd of 478 at Clapton CFC, Bromley having to settle for second when held 1-1 at home by Dulwich Hamlet Reserves. Leatherhead ended third after a 2-1 result at Hackney, fifth-placed Denham United moved three points clear of Richmond & Kew whome they edged 4-away.

1 South – Aylesford were victorious in the title decider at home to Bognor Regis Town, Kara Richardson with the oly goal while the Rocks lost Jade Widdowson to a second yellow card. Elsewhere, Hastings United drew 1-1 with Steyning Town.

NORTH EAST – Chester le Street Town win title decider

Premier – Chester le Street Town beat Bradford City 4-0 away in the title decider, led by Isla Baxter’s hat-trick. Alnwick Town just got the better of Spennymoor Town 4-3, to go level on points with South Shields in fourth.

1 North – Consett secured their safety with a 3-2 victory over Gateshead, as Becca Emery scored all their three goals. Consett host Hartlepool United this Wednesday.

NORTH WEST – Mancunian Unity coast to Cup Final success

Alliance Design & Print League Cup Final – Mancunian Unity stormed to a 6-0 half-time lead over Accrington Stanley, adding one more after the break before lifting the trophy.

Alliance Design & Print League Plate Final – Fleetwood Town Wrens saw off Curzon Ashton by the odd goal in five to pick up the Plate.

1 North – Accrington Stanley were 3-1 winners at Radcliffe on Tuesday despite trailing at half time.

1 South – Runcorn had a midweek walkover in the scheduled game away to Wigan Athletic

SOUTHERN – Fleet Town clinch title

Premier – AFC Portchester beat Sholing 2-1 to finish level on points with second-placed Wycombe Wanderers.

1 North – Abingdon United Development claimed fifth spot with a 6-3 result over Tilehurst Panthers i sixth. Abingdon Devs play Oxford City in the Chairman’s Cup Final on Thursday at Beaconsfield Town FC.

1 South – Fleet Town beat Bursledon 4-2 in their final game to take the title ahead of morning leaders Havant & Waterlooville.

REGEN ARABLE SOUTH WEST – Torquay two wins from title afer holding leaders

Premier – Torquay United’s goalless draw at leaders Marine Academy Plymouth leaves the Gulls needing to win their last two games to take top spot. Sherborne Town ran out 4-1 winners at Ilminster Town, Pucklechurch Sports hit hosts AFC St Austell for six.

1 North – Bath City finished fourth with five goals at SGS Olveston United, Royal Wootton Bassett Town were held 1-1 by Stockwood Wanderers, Paulton Rovers shared four goals with Downend Flyers, while Purton’s record has been expunged.

1 South – Saltash United caught up with leaders Plympton whom they beat 4-0 away and will win the division if they avoid defeat at home to Sticker on Wednesday. Yeovil Town recorded a 3-0 result over Helston Athletic in the other match.

WEST MIDLANDS – Walsall FC boost title hopes by beating leaders

Premier – Kidderminster Harriers’ 5-0 result at Burton Albion put them a point short of leaders Lye Town, with a game in hand. Shifnal Town got the sole goal at Solihull Sporting, Port Vale pipped Coventry Sphinx 3-2 with Lexie Harrison’s 80th-minute effort, Leek Town took the points 2-1 against Coundon Court.

1 North – Walsall FC inflicted Hednesford Town’s first defeat 3-1 away, with the Saddlers still able to catch the leaders whom they host on 25 May. AFC Telford United moved back up to second with a 5-2 victory at Eccleshall.

1 South – Redditch Borough are one win from the title following a 7-0 success at third-placed Halesowen Town, where Kathryn Pagan hit a hat-trick. Crusaders kept up their title hopes by beating Worcester City 2-0, Bromsgrove Sporting’s Elle Higgins-Pugsley got the one goal at Redditch United, Droitwich Spa defeated Long Itchington 5-1.
