Pontypridd United came back from 2-0 to Connah’s Quay Nomads at half time to win the Genero Adran North/South promotion play-off 3-2.

The Nomads had struck twice close to the interval through Polly McGregor-Wild and Poppy Kendrick-Jones but two minutes after the restart, Madison Williams’ corner was head home by substitute Shannon Hindmarsh.

Ponty turned the game round with a quickfire double in the last ten minutes, a Nicole Fenton effort levelling the game before Emily Poole’s cross was turned in by Quianna Wheeler.

The result sees Pontypridd bounce back into the Welsh top flight at the first attempt.
