Hibernian Women secured an away victory against Motherwell following a dramatic turnaround in the Sky Sports Cup quarter-finals
Boroughmuir Thistle 0-5 Hearts
Glasgow City 2-0 Celtic
Rangers 3-0 Partick Thistle
Motherwell 1-2 Hibernian
Hearts ended the cup run of SWPL2 leaders Boroughmuir Thistle on Friday evening, after a very strong start.
The visitors were four up at the break through a Lauren Wade brace and efforts by Mariana Speckmaier and Beth Rennie.
Speckmaier completed her double and the scoring early in the second half.
Glasgow City eliminated Celtic with early and late goals, as Emily Whelan’s seventh-minute opener was added to close to the finish by Emily Gray.
Rangers put out Partick Thistle 3-0, with May Cruft first on target, before Katie Wilkinson buried a free kick and completed her brace with her 100th goal for the club.
Hibernian had to come from behind to win 2-1 at Motherwell, whose Lucy Sinclair had given them a half-time advantage. The reply came with two quick goals after the hour mark, as Scarlett Herron equalised and Libby Smith struck the winner.
