The first of our County League round-ups takes us to Beds & Herts, Birmingham, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Cornwall, Cumbria, Derbyshire, Dorset, Devon and Durham.
Beds & Herts
Hitchin Belles Blues topped the Premier with a much better goal-difference than Ampthill Town, while Stotfold were two points behind in third. A two-horse race for the Division 1 title saw Garston triumph by a single point from Berkhamsted, Harpenden Town Colts were well clear of Division 2 runners-up MK United on goal-difference. Cranfield United won the Third by five points from Ruislip Rangers 2nd XI.
Birmingham
Leamington won the Premier Division by a single point from Stourbridge Standard, SJB beat Coundon Court Reds to the Division 1 title by just goal-difference, while Coleshill Town topped Division 2 by two points from Tamworth Mercian.
Alan Boswell Group Cambridgeshire
Fulbourn Institute Bluebirds finished top of Division 1 by a dozen points from both Newmarket Town Development and Godmanchester Rovers. Deeping Rangers beat Soham Town Rangers to the Division 2 title by four points, Saffron Walden took the title in the Third by a three-point margin from Ely City.
Cheshire
Nantwich Town won 15 of their 16 games to seal pole position in the Premier by nine points from AFC Crewe. Wythenshawe 2nds won Championship East ahead of Manchester Rovers, Witton Albion only dropped two points in ending 12 clear of Witton Albion in Championship West.
Earthbound Electrical Cornwall
St Agnes were unstoppable Premier champions by some distance from runners-up Saltash Borough. Newquay were unbeaten in Division 1 but finished second to Kilkhampton by a point, St Agnes Reserves pipped Redruth United Development to the Division 2 crown on goal-difference.
Andrea Buggy Cumbria
Playing a summer season in an eight-team league, Newlaithes have begun with five straight wins to lead the table from Penrith Titans.
Derbyshire
Borrowash Victoria narrowly won Division 1 from Draycott Victoria with a much better goal-difference, Castle Donington were champions in the Second by four points from Matlock Town. Sleetmoor United stormed to the Division 3 title with a 100% record and huge 17-point winning margin over Allenton United, Hatton United and Pride Park Development.
Sports Lighting Devon
Appledore lifted the Premier trophy with a nine-point advantage over Bradworthy, an unbeaten Braunton did likewise in the North/East Division from Seaton Town. Signal Box Oak Villa were champions of the South/West, Horrabridge Rangers runners-up.
Dorset
Shaftesbury only dropped four points in an 18-game campaign to take the title by nine points from Dorchester Town. Sherborne Town won all 18 games in the recreational section, Bournemouth Manor taking second place.
Durham
Birtley Town were unstoppable in Division 1, winning all 20 games to finish top by 16 points ahead of Gateshead Rutherford. Durham Cestria Reserves won all but one match in taking the Division 2 title ahead of Speennymoor Town Reserves. Spennymoor’s Development side topped the Third from Chester le Street United Reserves, Hurworth Albion champions of the Development Division and Sunderland Leon second. Newcastle Castle United won all 14 games in Recreational Division 1, Bishop Auckland were second but 15 points behind. South Shields Harton & Westoe won Recreational 2 by the same margin from Inclusion Sports Foundation Hadrian Dea.
