
Glasgow City replaced Hibernian at the top of the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League with Rangers one point behind after a draw with Celtic.

There were braces by Brenna Lovera and Katie Lockwood as Glasgow City beat Motherwell 4-0, while Hearts came from behind with a quick double to win the derby away to leaders Hibernian.
Hibs scored after only 75 seconds, Kathleen McGovern with a near post finish from Michaela McAlonie’s ball. Hearts turned it round within the space of four second-half minutes, Lisa Robertson firing home the equaliser and Emma Brownlie beating defenders to finish calmly.

Kirsty Howat gave Rangers an early advantage over Celtic but in the last 20 minutes the scores were levelled, Emma Lawton setting up Amy Gallagher to finish.

Queen’s Park 0-0 Montrose
Dundee United 3-4 Partick Thistle
Partick Thistle held off a late fightback from a consequently relegated Dundee United to win 4-3 and lead the bottom six, with Aberdeen going down at home to Spartans who scored twice in the last third of the game. Queen’s Park stayed six points behind Montrose after a goalless draw with them.

Kilmarnock 6-2 St Johnstone
Boroughmuir Thistle grabbed a late winner at Hamilton Academical, whose lead was cut to five points with Kilmarnock hitting St Johnstone for six. Ayr United list 3-1 to Livingston and are two points adrift at the bottom after Rossvale held Gartcairn 2-2.
