She Kicks, issue 75, September 2022 pp.42–43

Alexandra Popp wins best comeback at the media for arriving at the pre-final press conference in a backwards baseball cap and a fake moustache after comments that she could play for the German men’s side. Ian Wright takes the legacy rallying cry, demanding girls get the same PE-lesson access as boys. Elsewhere: Ella Toone’s helicopter hat, Portugal’s away kit, a knitted Rotherham post-box cover, Underground stations renamed Wieg’Mansion House and Earps Court, and Keira Walsh’s plain pasta.
