Wolves Out To Keep Winning & Miller Aims To Inspire (Ali Miller)

Two pages with the Wolves striker who read the previous issue and did something about it. April Udall, the ten-year-old Wolves supporter interviewed in She Kicks 72, had named Alisha Miller as the player she would most like to play alongside, ahead of Millie Bright. Miller was chuffed, contacted April’s parents through Twitter, and handed over her Wolves shirt at Molineux on 13 April as the women’s team celebrated winning the National League’s Northern Premier Division. She argues that inspiring the next generation is a responsibility rather than a nicety, having had no such figure herself. There is a remarkable dual career here too: fourteen years of trampolining to England international and 2013 National Champion, and now a Chemistry PhD alongside a promotion push.
