She Reads: Football, She Wrote and My Mummy Is A Footballer (double book giveaway)

Two books, and ten copies of each to be won. Football, She Wrote is an anthology from Floodlit Dreams and Women in Football, twenty pieces split evenly between commissioned writers and new ones chosen by competition, with a foreword by Gabby Logan. It takes in Julie Welch on the first women’s international after a fifty-year ban, two black radio rookies in China, covering Newcastle United, establishing Real Madrid TV, the making of Emma Hayes and Mums United FC. All twenty contributors are named. My Mummy is a Footballer is the eighth title from Butterfly Books, a social enterprise founded in 2015 by the siblings Kerrine and Jason Bryan and one of very few black-owned, female-led publishers; it was initiated by Lewes FC.
