UCFB Students Working At The Heart Of The Action During EURO 2020 (Lauryn Fuller and Anna Overton)

Two UCFB Wembley students spent the men’s Euro 2020 working for UEFA, and describe what the roles involved. Lauryn Fuller, studying football business and media, worked within the media services and operations team at Wembley Stadium, helping press and photographers with accreditation and getting them where they needed to be so that they could report on the matches. Anna Overton was based in and around London City Hall as part of the London Squad Team, engaging with football fans who had come to England for the tournament. Fuller had applied for the role back at the beginning of 2019 and says seeing the event finally take shape was special; after a year in which fans could not attend anything, she found it remarkable that her job helped provide coverage for people watching around the world.
