Silje Lands Exciting Role At Right To Play (Silje Meese)

Silje Meese is a partnerships volunteer at Right To Play, working on the Side by Side project the charity runs with the LFC Foundation, and she describes a small team building fundraising campaigns to support activities in Liverpool and in several communities in Bangkok. Her own work covers coordination between the parties, social media scheduling, ambassadors and campaign content. She argues that it is almost naive not to see sport as a tool for positive social impact, and is using her dissertation to press the case for social impact reporting across the industry. Corporate social responsibility in sport is where she wants to build a career, and she pushes back at the assumption that studying football business narrows rather than widens what she can do.
