Celtic Graduate (She Kicks Back: Chloe Logan)
She Kicks, issue 65, February 2021 pp.45–47
Chloe Logan became a goalkeeper because nobody else would go in goal for a primary-school match against the teachers, and she wanted to play the whole game. She had, by her own account, a blinder. One of the staff team, an Active Schools co-ordinator who also coached at Celtic, told her to get herself up to the club; a trial with the under-13s followed and she never played outfield again. Training with the first team at fourteen she was, she admits, really scared, and tried to be a sponge in a changing room of national-team players. At fifteen she became the first player to come through every Celtic age group into the senior side. Five years at Stirling University gave her the match experience she needed, and she is now Celtic’s first-choice professional.
