View From The Field: Kerys Kicks (Kerys Harrop column)
She Kicks, issue 65, February 2021 p.15
Tottenham’s defender writes from a third national lockdown, counting the squad fortunate to still be going to work every day and describing the care players are taking to keep the season on the road to May. The column’s warmest passage is a farewell: it was a shame, she says, that Alex Morgan could not stay until the end of the season, something the fans especially would have loved, and she is confident every Spurs player and supporter will be cheering her on at the Olympics with the United States. She is optimistic about the young squad Spurs are assembling, and closes on a small domestic note about a Christmas break spent with family, board games and mince pies before the lockdown separated them again.
