The She Kicks Locker Room: Car Quiz with Flo Fyfe (London City Lionesses)

The Locker Room’s driving slot goes to Flo Fyfe, who moved in the summer from Oxford United – commuted to from the University of Bath, two hours each way – to the newly full-time Championship side London City Lionesses. Her dad did the childhood driving, doubling back from work to reach the Arsenal training ground, with her mum along for game days. The car now is a dark grey BMW 1 Series shared with her brother, called Beyonce when she drives it and Jay-Z when he does. Five things always aboard: spare studs, a football, protein shakes, Red Bulls and chewing gum. Four team-mates now share the driving, cutting the weekly mileage to a few hours, filled with sing-alongs and, she says, the weirdest conversations after a hard session.
