Vivianne Miedema, Netherlands (poster)
She Kicks, issue 54, June 2019 p.51
A full-page portrait of Vivianne Miedema in the Netherlands’ orange home kit, opening She Kicks’ Group E section for the 2019 World Cup. Miedema is shown in a match action shot, moving onto the ball in an empty half of the pitch, with the KNVB crest set against the top corner and her name and country running up the page in large display type beneath the Group E heading. Miedema arrived in France as the outstanding scorer in the English league, having just taken the FA WSL Golden Boot with 22 goals in Arsenal’s title-winning season, and as the Netherlands’ record goalscorer.
