The title took the club into the top flight for the first time and was recognised again at the FA Women’s Football Awards covered earlier in the same issue, where Yeovil were named WSL 2 Club of the Year. The magazine had followed their promotion campaign: Atlanta Primus described the push in the September issue before leaving for a college scholarship in California, and Helen Ward’s column in this issue names Yeovil among the promoted clubs that will benefit from the Spring Series.
