She Kicks Goal Getter: Galloway Gets Goals (Bridget Galloway interview)

Seventeen-year-old Bridget Galloway has started the season with eleven goals in five games for Sunderland Ladies reserves and eleven in three for Gateshead College. Her target is a hat-trick a game and to top the scoring in whichever league she plays in. She rates her first reserve goal, against Aston Villa, as her most special – collected on the halfway line, past three players and struck from twenty-five yards into the top corner – alongside the winner in the ECFA National Cup final for her college. Decision-making is what she wants to improve. Her idol is Jill Scott, another North East player who came through Sunderland Ladies and Gateshead College to play for England.
