Atlanta Crossing the Atlantic (Atlanta Primus interview)
She Kicks, issue 37, September 2016 pp.22–23
England Under-19 forward Atlanta Primus joined Yeovil Town at the start of 2016 from Chelsea, knowing the facilities would be a step down but willing to sacrifice that to develop and play first-team football. Injuries have cost her games but she is enjoying playing again and finding her sharpness as Yeovil push for WSL 1. She credits manager Jamie Sherwood with wanting the best for her, and names Gilly Flaherty and Eniola Aluko as the Chelsea seniors who gave her confidence and freedom and genuinely cared about her. Her favourite England memory is her first international goal, against Portugal at the Under-17 European Championship. She now leaves for a scholarship at California State University, Fullerton, studying kinesiology.
