Brighton and Hove Albion, FAWPL Play-Off Champions 2016 (full-page poster)

A full-page poster of Brighton and Hove Albion as FA Women’s Premier League play-off champions for 2016, the win that took the club into WSL 2 for the following season. The page carries only the club name and the title, with no individual players identified. Brighton’s season is covered extensively elsewhere in the same issue: they beat the Ex-England All-Stars five-two in the FAWPL Charity Trophy, and captain Vicky Ashton-Jones is interviewed on the facing page about the promotion and the club’s WSL 2 ambitions. The manager who led them to the Southern Division title, James Marrs, had his contract terminated in May, as reported in the previous issue.
