#SheTweets: Can Dan Make 2016 Her Year? (Danielle Carter interview)
She Kicks, issue 33, February 2016 p.34
Arsenal and England striker Danielle Carter answers ten questions by tweet. She is happy with a new deal and with a squad that has kept its core and added quality, and jokes about welcoming the new signings, whose initiation has been deferred until a pre-season tour. Reminded that at the 2013 FA Awards she held up three fingers and said three years, she says she simply wants to improve every year and win for club and country. She still cannot quite believe the hat-trick on her England debut in Estonia, and rejects the suggestion of retiring on a perfect record in favour of winning silverware. She credits Vic Akers, who framed her match ball and shirt, and nominates Katie McCabe as her follow.
